I'm looking for anyone interested in joining me in descents of Henline Creek and Eagle Creek this summer, and probably another. The dates have not been set yet, they are open to change and input from anyone interested. I was thinking either late may or late june. Just to add a bit to my credibility as an adventurer, photographer and canyoneerer, please feel free to take a look at some of my trip photos:

Please drop me an email if you're interested. Id prefer people more my age(21), but anyone capable is welcome. 5 spots are open for each trip.
Thanks,
Eric

Eric,
Late May/early June may be too early for those canyons. Water typically is still running high that time of year.
We usually find Eagle Creek in greate shape by late July though.

TWO more spots open for each...must have canyoneering experience and be under 30. Thats right, I said it.
tentative dates now are:
henline creek: Saturday, July 7th or 14th
eagle creek: Monday, July 9th or Sunday July 15th
late july: the Olympic penninsula area and more...
Best Regards,
Eric

Under 30 what? Kilograms? Decimeters? Number of canyons descended? Miles away?

How come? Oldies no fun? Too bossy? What's the significance of 30?

Old age and treachery will beat youth and skill every time.

I don't mean to offend all you poor souls older than 30, but it is simply an attempt to try and find canyoneerers more in my age group.

hmmm...sarcasm? Subtle nonetheless. Please sir, say what you want to say - I did not mean to insult you.

Hahaha!!! That's funny!
How about "under 30 inches?"...maybe he's looking for leprechauns to take over to North Wash!!! Hahaha...
I'm thinking my next trip out I'm gonna stipulate and age range of "14 - 18" and "40 - 80"!!! With NONE of those silly in-between ages!
In my experience, the 20ish - 30ish crowd is "just no fun anymore!" Too grown up by then! But hey, once they pass that magical "FOUR OH" number they all of sudden "regress" and get fun again!!!!! Second childhood kickin in? Maybe!?!
No offense to any of you in your 20’s and 30’s ~ I'm just playing!!!! :)
I actually kind of sressed out when my friend John (who's younger than me) took me out to my first ACA rendezvous. I thought "Oh no, it's gonna be all youngsters and I'll be the oldest one there!" Boy was I ever delighted to be right in the middle age wise! Lot’s of old folks LOVE canyoneering! And I LOVE lots of old folks! I’ll go canyoneering with any of you oldsters any time!
Don't feel bad discriminating against oldER folks Eric....
My girls who are 14 & 16 do the same thing....
The first thing they ask when I invite them canyoneering is "Will there be anyone OUR age there?" Their enthusiasm is directly dependent upon my answer!
Have fun out there...and good luck finding the kind of partners ya seek, but do yourself a favor and don't shy away from the "older" folks forever ~ you'll be missing out on a HUGE knowledge base as well as getting to know some of the most awesome people on the planet!

Don't let any of these people get to you, Eric. I understand completely. In fact, I am planning a special rendezvous for people under 30. Unfortunately, you can't come; I'll be the only guy allowed.

Anyone who wants/needs a fake ID for attending Eric's gathering let me know. I know a place where we can get them...
