Camera found in Pine Creek

On October 6, 2007, I found a Canon PowerShot SD500 digital camera
somewhere before the last rap in Pine Creek. By the looks of it, it
wasn't waterproof or shock proof. In fact only about 1/4th the camera
case was sticking out of the sand. Can anyone identify the owner?
Perhaps he/she purchased a replacement plan at BestBuy or someplace

I was able to retrieve the SD card intact. There are a couple of videos that identify the two people as Scott and Shelly. Shelly was apparently a volunteer ranger at Zion in the summer or fall of 2006, and the last picture on the camera was taken on October 8, 2006.
