I recently became the U.S. distributor for Resurgence canyon packs. Anyone who is familiar with them knows they are the "Mercedes" of canyoning packs.
The yellow Hypalon pack I use is made by Resurgence. The first one I owned was given to me as a gift in 2003 and has withstood wear and tear from hundreds of canyons over the five years I had it. I have a new one now and left my old one with a friend in Nepal. No doubt he will get a few more years use from it before it finally retires. These are TOUGH packs.
Resurgence packs will be available through my online store soon. They are available right now by special order. Contact me by email to discuss available sizes, options and prices.

I received an order of three packs. Two were sold during the Escalante-Zion rendezvous. One more in stock. Hypalon. Zippered top pocket. Mesh sides. Price is $275.

I have been getting quite a few requests for more Resurgence packs lately. Unfortunately, the packs are expensive when the dollar-Euro exchange is strongly in the Euro favor. Checked the exchange rate this morning. It is the best it's been in a very long time, so I ordered eight more packs.
With a bit of luck, the rate will continue to get better before the invoice comes due.
If more of you are interested, please let me know very soon.

Do you have any details on pack features. I'm mainly interested in the size -- loking for something larger than my Metolius pack -- but would also like to know things like pockets, mesh vs. grommets, etc.
Oh, and uh rough cost.

Also - are there going to be any smaller ones? My big one is awesome, but due to its size, it rarely gets used. If i could get my hands one a smaller version, I would use it constantly.

The packs I ordered are pictured in the top row of photos in the first post of this thread. I will write to see about adding some smaller packs, too. Same design and features, just smaller.
Keep praying for a strong dollar, weak Euro.

That would be fantastic. I have often thought that if I had the exact same pack on a much smaller scale that it would be the ultimate canyoneering bag. If they do come around at a decent price, make sure to let me know. I would like to arrange to pick up a couple if possible.

This pack is one that I bought from Rich. I love it, very durable. Just a thought, If you plan on carrying wetsuit, harness, helmet, first aid kit, lunch, etc. You really have to pack it in tightly to get it all in. Having a smaller pack might cause some problems. Love the pack as it is.

I am assuming still no "smaller version"? Sounds like I will need to look elsewhere for my ideal North Wash pack... Although the big one is perfect for canyons that arent quite so skinny

The BlueWater bags will be ideal as rope bags and as North Wash packs.

I am back on the hunt for a smaller, durable canyon pack. I checked your website for these BlueWater bags and found nothing. Are these something you carry?

I've had one of these for about 2 years, probably 80 canyon days in use, and still going strong. These suckers are indestructable:

I am very proud to be the guy who convinced Metolius to make their canyoneering pack and recommended the features added to one of their stock haul packs. It is a great pack for many canyons. But it does have one design flaw to be aware of for tight sandstone slots.
Metolius retained the protruding hem of their haul packs around the bottom of the canyoneering pack. If you do a lot of tight slots, you will wear out that protruding bit quite quickly.
