Pugh Canyon

Water Concerns
Small intermittent springs, last rappel is through a waterfall, no more than a dripping fall, but it gets the rope wet.
Special Challenges
No bolts, no need, lots of trees.

Directions to Trailhead
Go through Kanab to the GSENM visitor center, go behind it and behind the Kanab Golf Course. At the end of the road, there is a closed gate with a walk around for hikers, this is Pugh Canyon.

Approach
At the trail head head 1 mile up the canyon to where you can see a main split in the canyon. There is a large finn where a trail heads up between the two forks, this trail heads up the right fork, the Canyoneering canyon is the left. Once you have gotten on top of the right fork you will see a 4x4 track, hike west (left) until you see a large drainage on the same side of the road. This is the Left Fk of Pugh Canyon. The canyon has about 7 rappells.
