This is a short but fun canyon in the Dry Tropical Forest, near the city of San Ramon. The information here is based on the first descent of this canyon, done by Mauricio Odio (Outdoor Adventures), on Aug 1st 2009, and info provided by locals. Rain in the tropics and specially in Costa Rica could be really strong, and flash floods are possible everywhere around the country. Always check the weather conditions, water shed, and talk with the locals to see the recent weather conditions.

Standard Technical Gear (harness, descending device, helmet, multiple locking carabineers, slings, etc), 2 200’ foot ropes, ~50’ of webbing, rap rings/links, ascenders.
