This canyon sucks!!!!!! Went throught it, ok raps, but Bees. I was rigging the 3rd rappel, dropped the ropes and heard buzzing. A swarm of bees came up form below. We had to solo up the rap behind us while being stung. I knew where the nearest escape route was behind us, so we ran back up canyon being stung. when we got to the exit point another swarm, started to attach on our 30' climb out. epic!!!! bring a bee suit if you go !!!!

Any update on the bees here. Assuming no problem right now as it is cold?

went through last friday. bee hive is still active but theres a massive die-off going on. all of the flying things were grounded and slow. hope that helps garrett. :) oh, and the "high road" anchors are good throughout.

Thanks Clint, that did help. We dropped in at night, and I had not been in there before so the high road anchor comment was nice to know, as I was wondering if I was in for unprepared wetness.
