This is a beautiful little gem of a canyon, in Mt. Rainier National Park. It’s steep, deep, and narrow with four waterfalls. Less than a quarter mile long, it should take just a few hours round trip. This is in one of the most popular spots in the park. There are normally lots of people at the view point overlooking Myrtle Falls. All rappels except the first can be anchored from slings on rocks in the creek bed. The lower part of the canyon collects a lot of snow well into summer. I recommend a late August descent.
