Silver Creek is a really fun canyon close to Seattle. The rappels are short. The canyon is beautiful. The canyon section is about one mile long and takes about two hours to complete. The rock is mostly granite. Silver Creek has several mine shafts. The trail and parts of the creek above and below the canyon section are still prospected.
