Mesatchee Creek is a tributary of the American River which is east of Mount Rainier National Park. The route description is for the lowest mile of the creek. The canyon has three waterfalls to rappel and two cascades that can be downclimbed or rappelled depending on the conditions and the party. Expect three to five rappels. Natural anchors are abundant.
