Hike down the tributary stream. There are many fallen logs to climb over. The drainage is fairly broad, and the scenery is unremarkable, though there are occasional streamside cliffs. In about a third of a mile you will reach Rock Creek. Continue down stream. The drainage is deep, but not especially narrow. There are a few low angle waterslides, which are fun. In about a third of a mile you will pass beneath the highway 503 bridge. There is a short swim before reaching the bridge. The area just downstream of the bridge is the most interesting part of the canyon.
