Leslie Gulch - Succor Creek

This area is like a little piece of the southwest transported to eastern Oregon. It abounds in colorful pinnacles and other fascinating erosional forms. The rock is a volcanic tuff consolidated out of rhyolite ash. Much of it looks like Swiss cheese with countless solution holes and small arches. Recently, the area has been discovered by rock climbers.
