To start drop down a side drainage of Lost Creek. After 15 minutes you will arrive at a 60 foot waterfall which is rappelled from a tree on the left. Immediately below this, a 10 foot waterfall is rappelled into a pool which is too shallow for jumping. Downstream the creek has a lot of fallen trees to climb over. When you reach the confluence with Lost Creek, the creek changes considerably. There are few downed trees. The creek bed is wide, shallow, and slabby. When you get to the top of the gorge section, check the water level before continuing. Part of it is quite narrow and can be dangerous with a lot of water. There are three rappels close together in this section. The first is about 25 feet next to a waterfall. The second is sloping, about 60 feet, and goes over a few small falls in a narrow chute. The third is about 20 feet at a log jam. Natural anchors are abundant. After a few more scrambles it is a short hike out to the bridge. The beautiful lower gorge features overhanging walls with waterfalls pouring over the sides.
