Nepal Canyoning Association (http://www.nepalcanyoning.org.np/home.php)
The Nepali Canyoning Team will be publishing a website in the near future with beta for canyons that they have explored and rigged for descents.
Nepal will be the site of the 2011 international canyon rendezvous.

Rich,
Can you tell us where in Nepal the Last Resort and these canyons are located? Might combine a canyoneering trip with a trek to the Annapurna area. Thanks.

Last Resort is in northern Nepal, just a few miles from the border with Tibet, along the Bhote Koshi River (not sure about the spelling).

David,
Have you been to Nepal before? I would recommend that you go to Gokyo instead of EBC. Contact me sideband for info and my reasons why.

Hi everyone,
On the french website, descente-canyon.com, you can find description of some Nepal Canyon.

I think it is a french team, which has open these canyon, since 2004 or earlier.
Every year they come to Nepal to train nepalese guide, and opening new canyon. I think that they have already opened 22 canyon, and they hope open a very big canyon next year just after the international canyon rendez-vous.
They speak about this canyon here:

If you need help to translate, the description in english ask me.

Contacted www.friendsadventure.com and received reply from Rajendra. I was able to finally locate the area where the 2011 Rendezvous will be held.
The town of Bulbule is spelled Bhulbule on the map and is to the east of Pokhara and north of Besisahar (where the Annapurna Circuit begins). Two other towns where canyons are located are Ngadi and Syanje, and may or may not be used during the rendezvous. Planning continues.
He confirmed what Rich had posted earlier, that it would be held during Easter Week but the dates were as of yet undetermined.
