We hit North Middle Fork and North Fork the weekend before Memorial Day. They're probably full of water right now but when we did them, they were bone dry. You can check out the pics and the trip here as well as a few others we've done this year...click on the "canyoneering" link.

It was hot! In the 90's when we did North Fork. The 70-foot free hang rap out of North Middle Fork (aka:Not-Mindbender) was especially nice as it drops you by a pool fed by a spring. We ate and napped there for about an hour before we began the hike out. Both canyons were very photogenic (Is there one that isn't?). We did "Mindbender" in March which has an exit free hang rap over 150 feet but I think "Not-Mindbender" is the better of the two canyons. BTW, who named North Middle Fork, "Not-Mindbender"?! No points for originality on that one, in fact after you see the pics of the anchor for the exit rap in the aforementioned canyon, you'll agree that we should rename the canyon, "Knotbender"... :D
