I just left Tom's website and have a couple first impressions ...

Happy to see the Baboonska. Much cheaper to protect your wetsuit/drysuit than it is to constantly repair or replace. Baboonska provides nice option and allows you to use your favorite harness.

Also happy to see that it comes in a bright color. The basic black baboon butt on my Petzl Canyon harness has not been very effective in attracting female baboons. :cool:

I see a lot of potential for a Clipster and Canyon Quickdraw combination. Use each alone or together. With both clipped to the front of your harness, you can employ many of the specialized techniques previously reserved for Spelergyca owners. If Tom brings a few Clipsters with him on Wed (Aug 3), I'll be happy to demonstrate.

My understanding is that the bright red butt is NOT there to attract the FEMALE baboons.
