With tonight's 6-to-3 win, I think we Chicago White Sox fans should just thank the Angels for "going softly into the night" and giving the next World Series Champs a bit of rest.

Sorry, Paul, you will just have to attend Saturday night's Chapter meeting! I admit, a World Series Game would have been much more pleasurable, but just think about all the potential for other excitement.

From one Chicagoan to another, it looked like the Astros never knew what hit them!

Enjoy the celebration in the Windy City! It should be quite a homecoming for our Champs tomorrow! I'd love to be at O'Hare when they arrive.

The city is still celebrating this morning. Don't know what they have planned when the team arrives. We have now been around for Hawks, Bears, Wolves, Fire, Bulls and Sox championships. Can we only hope that the Cubs are next?

News reports were saying how gracious and classy the Astros and their fans have been throughout this series, so a tip of my hat to all of you Texas fans for your team making it to the big game.
