My two sons (21 and 18) do some Gorge Walking in the UK (Lake District) and are coming over to Las Vegas/Grand Canyon/Death Valley for a week starting 11th March.
We will not be bringing wetsuits, wet weather gear, ropes etc and so wonder if anyone knows of either some good dry slot canyon/bouldering climbs around those areas, or, of a guide who we can hire for a day to take us somewhere good?
Any help to us newbies will be very gratefully received.

In Death Valley, Fall Canyon might be a good option.

It's quite pretty and dramatic. It's non-technical, though there is one scramble (short Class 4 "chimney" to an easy but loose series of ledges) required to pass a dry falls a few miles in. Above that are some nice narrows.

It's also fairly easy to access -- just a few miles of good dirt road from the main road. Should be doable even in a standard rental car, if that's what you'll have. (Note, however, that many rental car contracts prohibit leaving paved/maintained roads. Though in my experience, it's amazing all the things rental cars can do! :D)

You can find lots of info on the web, I'm sure, but feel free to PM me if you want more info...
