Thinking about North Fork of Robbers Roost before it gets too warm and was wondering if anyone could pass on some info on the camping situation. Not looking for the Taj just something out of the wind. Wag bag, will travel.:)

In the Roost you just sort of pull over anywhere that looks good and set up a tent. The Robbers' Roost Spring is a reasonably good place to camp, but take all the water you need. Way too many cows around to risk drinking out of the spring.

Thanks for the info. I was actually out there last weekend and that is pretty much where i camped. So you don't think a good filter would clean up the water?

Maybe. You'd really have to trust the well-being of your small intestine to your filter - there are LOTS of cows around that spring.
What canyon(s) did you do there? I'll be back down in that area in a couple of weeks.

Once we got to NFRR my partner decided it was beyond his "comfort" range so he bailed. We "I" was thinking about not mindbender also. In case you did not know I heard the bolts on the last rap of NFRR might be pulled soon so bring some extra (long) slings. Let me know how it goes. Have fun, be safe.
