Anyone have recent information about the main fork of Bluejohn? In particular, are the anchors for the Big Drop still in place and if not, can I build a good natural anchor there? Heading down in a couple of weeks.

Anchors are not a problem for Main Fork of Bluejohn. Its pretty easy to downclimb the entire canyon. But if you like there is a nice chokestone with a sling at the only significant drop.

I just went down Blue John about two weeks ago--Big Drop anchors are in good shape and you shouldn't need anything besides rap gear and a 50m rope--have fun!
